Does Anixter have plans of the buildings, a survey for the land parcels and any appraisal information? If so, can any of this be provided?
At this moment we can provide copies of land parcels and surveys for 2001 N. Clybourn.
A “health district” is referenced in II.C.2. Future Office Space Considerations. Is this with specific reference to the Illinois Medical District or something more general?
Illinois Medical District is preferred.
Are you willing to share your proposal scoring methodology so that we can better target our response?
Anixter Center’s evaluation process will be objective and will be completed by a knowledgeable subcommittee of our board of directors and the executive leadership team.
You indicated that you want to put the 2001 Building up for sale by July 15, 2016, which would imply that Anixter is hoping to move the administrative offices ASAP.

Are there any time constraints with respect to this requirement? Would Anixter move these offices prior to the sale?
Choice of move dates will be determined by what is less disruptive and most cost efficient for Anixter.
Has a budget been established for the rent of the admin offices and the two programs?
Anixter Center is open to all class B and C buildings.
Does Anixter have an architect chosen for this project?
No

Has the Board of Directors given a Directive to move?
Anixter Center’s board is involved.
Does the 2001 building need to be sold before a lease will be signed for the new office space?
No but listed.

Is the brokerage commission for the sale of the 2001 building going to come out of the Sales Price collected by Anixter and paid by Anixter to the broker?

Anixter Center is open to discussion keeping in mind we are a nonprofit.
What are their ideal lease terms?
We expect the successful respondent to this RFP will provide the best advice in this area.
How many parking spaces will the Center require?
None, but access to parking or public transportation nearby is required.
Will we have the opportunity to meet with decision makers for a pre-qualification meeting?
No, once all proposal have been reviewed by the evaluation committee we will invite vendors that best meet our criteria to present.
What is the timeline for choosing a broker?
Ideally June 1st

Are we interpreting that correctly, or would the admin offices co locate with one of the programs?
