Jack Ehrlich, 81, lifelong resident of Chicago, son of Abe and Florence and brother of Lois, all who preceded him in death, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Carmel, Indiana on November 14, 2015 from the effects of Parkinson’s disease which he determinedly fought for almost two decades. Jack is survived by his loving wife Carol, his children Craig Ehrlich, Rhonda Ehrlich (Jeff Tryba), Ilene Green, and Mitchell Ehrlich, his seven grandchildren whom he adored, and one great grandson. He was a CPA, an attorney, a trusted advisor to his clients, a lifelong fan of the Cubs, and a good and loyal friend. Jack lived a life in service to others. He was a board member of Anixter Center in Chicago, and founded the Anixter Center Literacy Program, which was later renamed the Jack Ehrlich Literacy Program in his honor. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
