BMO’s Barrier to Inclusion Resource Group joins Anixter at the Hub for an interactive morning
of learning.
We had a packed house at the Hub on Friday as Jim Sisk, one of our Anixter Board members and a BMO executive, brought BMO’s Barrier to Inclusion resource group to the Hub for an interactive morning of learning, connection and meaningful conversation.
The morning created an opportunity for BMO participants to engage with our clients, hear their stories, learn from their experiences, and join us in planting seeds for greater inclusion and growth.
A special shout-out to Leslie Williams from CHS, who did an amazing job teaching ASL skills to both BMO participants and our Choice Day Program clients. With Caroline and Alicia, our interpreters on-site to support the experience, everyone had an opportunity to learn, participate , and connect in a meaningful way. Kudos to Gwen Dieter for planning and bringing this impactful morning to life!
And, as always, great events don’t happen without a strong team behind the scenes. Special thanks to Temo from IT, Dr. Jennifer Smith, Jamil Razzaque, our Recovery Hub Assistant, Roxy Delgado, our social media maven, and Bridget Glavaz for showing up, setting up and helping ensure the morning was a success.
