Anixter Brings Energy to the Uptown Block Party
Anixter’s Mental Health Team brought incredible energy, enthusiasm and dedication to this year’s Uptown Block Party, representing Anixter and connecting with the community despite the summer heat.
Held annually in collaboration with the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, the event provides a wonderful opportunity for Anixter to raise awareness and strengthen our presence in the neighborhood. This year’s Block Party was well attended by more than 400 families and welcomed several state and local officials, including 46th Ward Ald. Angela Clay, 46th Ward Ald. Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth, Illinois State Senator Mike Simmons and 13th District State Representative Hoan Huynh.
Events like this are an important part of helping our neighbors know who we are, understand the services we provide , and see Anixter as an active and committed part of the Uptown community.
