Game On for Anixter This Weekend – Supporting the Back to School Bash in our Community!
Despite a rainy start, more than 2,000 neighbors came together to celebrate the upcoming school year. The event featured more than 20 community organizations, interactive activities, face painting, bounce houses, free food, live music and dance performances, raffles, health and wellness resources, and—most importantly—free backpacks and school supplies for local children.
Anixter was proud to contribute school supplies, including crayons and markers, and, even more importantly, the time and commitment of our employees. Thank you for showing up, engaging with families, and demonstrating what it means to be part of the communities we serve. Your presence reflects our mission and our values in action.
A special thank you to Jennifer Smith and team members who represented our organization at the Back to School Bash this past Saturday at Clarendon Park, hosted by 46th Ward Alderwoman, Angela Clay.
Thank you for making a difference and for continuing to elevate Anixter’s impact—one community event, one family, and one act of service at a time.
