Michael Hora   

I hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University. I spent my career with Kearney, an international management consulting firm, where I served as a Senior Partner and member of the firm’s leadership group. Throughout my career, I helped both large and small organizations improve profitability, strengthen operations, and navigate complex business transformations. My expertise is in business strategy and change management. 

Anixter’s mission of helping people achieve greater self-reliance and supporting those who need assistance resonates strongly with me. CHS’s work to improve the lives of individuals who are deaf, blind, or hard of hearing is especially meaningful, as I have experienced hearing loss myself and understand many of the challenges faced by those with hearing impairments. 

I have been actively involved with a variety of educational, cultural, and nonprofit organizations, including Providence St. Mel School, DePaul University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, American Councils for International Education, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, Red Cloud Indian School, Colorado Wildlife Federation, Greenhouse, American Writers Museum, and the Esophageal Awareness Network. I also serve as an Elder at Allenspark Community Church. 

  I enjoy travel, hunting, reading, fitness, and spending time with friends and colleagues. I also devote much of my free time to maintaining and improving our property in Colorado.
