STEP INSIDE…
Chicago’s Oakley House recently completed renovations that reflect the wishes and needs of our residents and caregiving staff. These renovations underscore our ongoing commitment to enhancing comfort, convenience, safety, and quality of life for those who share the home each day. This home provides a supportive living environment for older adults receiving Developmental Disability services.

A Home Built Across Three Floors
Oakley House is located on Chicago’s north side in a quiet, close to a variety of activities for residents to enjoy. The three-story building is thoughtfully organized to support both client life and staff operations under one roof. Client living spaces occupy the main floors, while the third floor is dedicated to staff for administrative work — keeping day-to-day program operations close at hand without disrupting the home-like feel of the residence.

A Renovated Kitchen for a Fresh Start
The home’s kitchen has also been fully renovated, with new appliances and new cabinets   replacing the original fixtures. Throughout the residence, all furniture provided for clients               is brand new, giving the home a refreshed, comfortable, and welcoming feel from the          moment clients move in.

New Laundry facilities
The laundry room has now been relocated to the second floor, making it directly accessible from inside the home. For an aging population, making this a simpler routine for our clients.
