Temple Seigler has the privilege of serving as the Chief Development Officer at the Anixter Center where she shares her enthusiasm for building successful long-term partnerships. With over 25 years experience, her expertise includes working with non-profit organizations and their funders, including major gifts, annual giving,  and capital campaigns.

Before Anixter Center, Ms. Seigler was Director of Development at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago). She was an integral part of the efforts to support an $8 million annual operating budget and the Advance Human Ability capital campaign for the construction of the hospital’s new $350 million flagship facility.

Prior to her work at RIC, Ms. Seigler had the honor of working in the veteran’s employment space during the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. She worked as a consultant for First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Joining Forces Initiative”, JPMorgan Chase’s “100,000 Jobs Mission” and Syracuse University’s “Institute for Veterans and Military Families”.

Ms. Seigler’s experience also includes serving as Director of Development at Josephinum Academy, a Catholic girls school in Bucktown, Chicago. She launched her career in political fundraising and campaign consulting in Washington, DC.

Temple Seigler was awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2016. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and Chicago Women in Philanthropy. A Kentucky native, she received a BA in Economics from Hollins University in Virginia. Ms. Seigler lives in Chicago where she raised her four children.
