Selena LeSure – Chief Experience Officer
As the Chief Experience Officer, Selena is responsible for delivering holistic experiences to the Anixter Center community that create a sustainable environment of success. She leads the Center of Excellence (COE) consisting of Human Resources, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, and Learning & Development. The COE is charged with creating an environment of belonging where employees can reach their full potential, ensuring technological solutions are available to support our mission critical work, fostering continuous learning through innovative approaches, and sustaining engagement through clarity of process and procedures. Selena also serves as the Corporate Compliance Officer for Anixter Center.
Selena’s early career experience as a direct care worker for people with developmental disabilities and later as a program manager, uniquely situates her to understand the needs of Anixter’s workforce. Described as a people-focused, forward-thinker, with a strong belief in strategic partnerships, Selena has demonstrated success in bridging the gap between where the business is today and where it wants to be. Her leadership style of service and integrity inspires others to be their best. She is a champion of continuous learning and information sharing–and believes that individual and organizational successes are best achieved and celebrated together.
Prior to joining Anixter, Selena served as the Vice President of People at Aspire Chicago, and Director of Human Resources & Administration for Student Affairs at Northwestern University. She currently serves as a mentor for the Charmm’d Foundation, advisory board member for Community Memorial Foundation, and advisory council member for HR Source. Selena holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in human resources management. She maintains both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, and is a member of SHRM, HRMAC, and SSHRN.
