About Dominick Mondi, Chairman of Anixter’s 2019 Annual Benefit
Dominick Mondi is the president and chief executive officer of Mesirow Financial, a specialist in investment, risk management and advisory services headquartered in Chicago. Named president in 2017 and CEO in 2018, Dominick guides the development of the firm's overarching business strategies, capital investment policies and performance objectives. He also serves as president of Capital Markets, responsible for leading, coordinating and maximizing the efforts of the Institutional Sales and Trading, Public Finance and Credit Tenant Lease Finance and Structured Debt Products groups. He heads the municipal bond sales and trading department, and is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Before joining Mesirow Financial in 2008, he was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, where he led the Chicago municipal sales operations and spearheaded the municipal bond sales efforts in the New York office. He was honored as Bear Stearns’ number one salesman more than 20 times. Dominick earned a BS from St. John’s University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53 and 63 licenses.
